Level 1 classes focus on safety, alignment, and yogic breathing and give detailed instruction on how to get the most out of your yoga practice. Yoga postures or “asanas” are demonstrated and explained so that beginners can participate with confidence. We’ll focus on simpler asanas, and students receive individual instruction on variations to make the postures comfortable and safe for their own body. This class is not limited to beginners. Many intermediate students prefer this type of step by step instruction. As students gain more experience they will pick up on things that they may not have as beginners.
